Each Hotel or Business Unit needs to plan its business in order to achieve or exceed its objectives and business targets. This module aims to give the participants a model to approach Business Planning.
The model puts the companies’ Vision and Values at the very centre for continuous attention and by having a circular model, the participants will understand the fact that business planning is a continuous process.
Additionally, the “what if scenarios” will be developed in order to make sure that all eventualities are covered and therefore be better prepared should the outcome differ from the objectives set forth in the Business Plan. By having a standardised set of terms and a standardised model, the company can have all its decision makers understand these terms in the same way and concentrate on the content rather than the format of the plan.
By the end of the Module, participants will be able to:
Identify the need for Business Planning
Understand the individual steps and their sequence
Apply the model processes on all business challenges
Plan for future reflection and continuous questioning
Explain the process to team members
Design and apply processes on all business challenges
Approach problems with a workable, simple structure
Enjoy the rewards of a successful business plan
Flexibility towards situations on “what if it doesn’t work”
